The meeting was started by Rector of the Medical University of Lodz who welcomed guests. After welcome from Municipal Authorities, the Coordinator of HARC project, Prof. Marek L. Kowalski briefly summarized the goals of the HARC project and started the discussion focused on the HARC activities for community – prevention and interaction with community.
During the I Scientific Advisory Board Session, after short discussion the HARC SAM members unanimously elected HARC SAB Chairman and HARC SAB Secretary.

Members of the Board also discussed the tasks for SAB within the HARC project.
The II Scientific Advisory Board Session was dedicated to presentation of HARC Work Packages and Research Areas. Each WP Leader sum up the activities taken up since the beginning of the project and presented the progress within their respective WP. The presentations were commented and discussed by SAB members.
