Innovation platform is dedicated to enhance Innovation Partnership on Healthy Ageing research with strengthened IPR protection and other activities with the following goals of achieve:
- Enabling citizens to lead healthy, active and independent lives while ageing;
- Improving the sustainability and efficiency of social and health care systems;
- Boosting and improving the competitiveness of the markets for innovative products and services, responding to the ageing challenge at both EU and global level, thus creating new opportunities for businesses with a collaboration with HARC in particular, and MUL in general.
These goals, matching the Strategic Implementation Plan for the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (SIP) released by the EC in November 2011, will be focused in the three areas of active prevention and health promotion, care and cure, and active and independent living of elderly people.
Innovation and innovative approach to different aspects of research, organization, education and interactions will be achieved through contacts with patients and authorities responsible for financing health care of elderly patients.
